Kane marks his 100th goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has declared that his interest in returning to the Premier League has lessened and he is prepared to discuss a new contract with Bayern Munich.
The prolific striker is currently halfway through the four-year agreement he signed when joining from Tottenham Hotspur for £86.4m in the transfer window of 2023.
The experienced forward has accumulated an remarkable 103 goals in 106 games for the German club, playing a key role in them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga title - which was the first significant honor of his notable career.
Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has recently mentioned that he would welcome to see Kane come back to England, where he requires 48 goals to surpass Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League scoring record of 260.
However, the England skipper has now indicated that he is no longer as enthusiastic about going back home as he once was, and would certainly consider prolonging his time in Bavaria.
"In terms of staying longer, I could absolutely see that," he remarked.
"I spoke openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those talks with Bayern yet, but if they were to arise I would be open to talk and have an frank conversation.
"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so unfolds and what we accomplish together. Right now, I would say we are in a superb moment and I am not focusing about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would probably say that has decreased a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have learned in my career is that different options and different moments happen and things work out. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am totally all in with Bayern."
Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the all-time top marksman for both Tottenham and England and recently became the speediest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club participating in one of Europe's top five divisions, attaining the achievement in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a title had eluded him until he won the German title last season.
Kane reveals that he was not sure how he would react after overcoming his trophy barren spell, but now believes it has made him eager for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he explained.
"But it's given me more motivation to do more and be better. I think I've proven that this year.
"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to achieve in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I driven myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
